LabView 5.1 - dll initialization failed

Hello,

I am using LabView 5.1.1 with an AT-MIO-16E-2 DAQ.  Whenever I try opening VIs that use the DAQ, I get the error message:

"Initialization of the dynamic link library C:\WINNT\System32\nidaq32.dll failed. The process is terminating abnormally"

This problem seemed to come out of nowhere - the VIs were all working fine on the same computer earlier in the day.  Nothing was changed with the hardware or software?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

The problem that you stated is very unusual. 

You mentioned that your program operated correctly earlier in the day.  I am just confirming that it was working on the same computer.  Is this correct?

When you get this error does LabVIEW crash?  If so when you restart LabVIEW do you get an error message?

Do you get this error when run any program that uses DAQ calls or only on your program?

You can try repairing the DAQ driver from Add/Remove Programs in control panel or updating it to the latest version of the DAQ driver that supports LabVIEW 5.1, which is NI-DAQ 6.9.3.

If you are still having problems, can you let me know which version of the NI_DAQ driver you are currently using
