I am trying to move a servo motor through the use of a UMI-7764 and a PCI-7344. The setup is correct. However, there is a problem with the VI.

I cannot initialize the controller. I also receive an error message. The message says, "Error: 12 NIMC_badBoardIDError. Illegal Board ID..." The Board ID is one. The Slot ID is designated as one, by the VI. Thank you for your help.

Make sure that you are using the FlexMotion VIs and not the ValueMotion VIs. The PCI-7344 is a FlexMotion controller and requires the FlexMotion driver to communicate with it. The ValueMotion driver is used to talk our older motion controllers. Hope this helps.
