Is it possible to use CF-6004 with Measurement Studio without LabVIEW PDA?

Hello,

Currently I'm using Measurement Studio 8.0.1  with Visual Studio 2005. I would like to use CF-6004 acquisition card in my application written in C#. Is it possible to operate with this card using NI-DAXmx drivers without LabVIEW PDA module? Can this card work plugged into USB card reader?

Hi dbraska,

The CF-6004 cannot be controlled through a card reader using NI-DAQmx, as it requires the ‘LabVIEW PDA Module” (CF-6004 User Guide, p4). For your application, I may suggest a USB-6009 instead of the CF-6004, as it is portable; USB bus powered, uses DAQmx, and has increased functionality compared to the CF-6004. Hope this helps.
