Internal Software Error message

Using NIDAQmx to control a PXI-6071E, I got a one-time "Internal Software Error" message. The error code was -224606. This occurred in a DAQmxStopTask call after a call to DAQmxReadBinaryI16 started by a hardware trigger.

I am using NIDAQmx v8.6.0f6 on Windows XP SP3, calling from Visual C++ 2008.

Have you continued receiving this error aside from the one instance?  If so, is it repeatable consistently?  This message indicates it is an issue with the driver.  If you are still having issues, I recommend reviewing this article.  Hopefully it helps!
