I update OS to Win2000 - how do I re-install PCI-MIO-16E4?

I had a fully functional PC system running a custom app developed under Microsoft Visual C++ using a PCI-MIO-16E4 card.
I updated its WinNT to Win2000 (clean/full install) and re-installed NIDAQ 6.9.3.  Now the NIDAQ test panel (& the device manager) no longer finds the NIDAQ card.
When I try to add the new hardware under the control panel, it is not one of the devices listed.  Where explicitly do I get drivers for this card?
Do I need to remove/uninstall it before I install it?  I have uninstalled the NIDAQ 6.9.3 software & the NIDAQ test panel for a re-do.  Do I need to pull the card first?

Hello jgotal,

To reinstall your card there are a few steps you can go through.  First of all you should uninstall your current DAQ driver, which you said you have done.  You should also remove your card from the PC because you want to install the driver first before you install the card.  Then you can download the latest driver for you card by going to the following link:

This web page shows all of the different PCI DAQ cards that National Instruments has and the latest driver that they support.  You can also download the latest drivers by going to www.ni.com and then clicking on the Drivers and Updates link towards the bottom of the page.

After you have downloaded and installed the latest driver then you can turn off your computer and install your PCI card.  Then when the computer reboots the card should be recognized by Windows and you should see it in Measurement and Automation Explorer.

If you still experience any problems please let me know.
