Hello all,
We have a cDAQ-9184 & MOXA AWK 3121 for making measurements wireless.
I have my PC equiped with Digisol wireless micro USB adapter (WLAN card).
Hence I followed the step by step procedure for "Set up using built in wireless card (Access Point mode)" given in the following link -
http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14336/en
After making all the settings I tested my cDAQ & Moxa set up that communicate to my host pc ( with WLAN card) .
The test results observed are not very good ....Maximum distance range at which my WLAN card could sense MOXA was observed to be about 60 ft. (18 m)
As it is Wi-Fi the distance should be upto 100 m.
As all the three devices viz. my PC, MOXA, & cDAQ9184 chassis have static IP addresses (192.168.127.xxx) in the same subnet I can't add them to my existing enterprise network.
I have one Cisco access point installed outside my lab....how MOXA can communicate to this AP?
There is link provided on ni website for this but its for something called WAP 3701 but not for MOXA.....

Moxa settings are completely different
Referring to above given link can anybody tell me what would be the procedure for adding MOXA to current network?
Kindly guide me.
Best Regards,
