I am trying to implement closed-loop control with an NI-PCIe 6361 module. Is there a way to acheive faster sampling rate than 1ms? The device allows data acquisition at MHz rate, so a sampling rate of 10-100 us should be a possibility. However, the timed-loop structure or the control loop timing parameter doesn't show a faster clock than 1kHz.
You need to use a RealTime system. I would recommend looking at a cRIO system. Windows is HORRIBLE for control, especially anything of a decently high speed.
