Error using DAQPad-6507

Hi,

I am currently tryin to setup my DAQPad-6507, but I get a message saying that there is no communication with the selected base address. When plugged in through USB, the devivce responds for the first 30 seconds or so, and then suddenly stops working. When testing the device during this 30-sec time period, a message stating that all tests are passed pops up. However, after this 30-sec period, the base address message occurs. This error only happens on the main work computer, but the device functions fine on all the laptops in the lab. Our current setup:

LabVIEW 7.1
Traditional NI-DAQ 7.4.4 (Provided with the system)
OS: Windows XP

Is there any way in which I can get the device to work on the main computer? Thanks

Can you post a screen shot of your error message?

I found two knowledge base articles here and here that maybe helpful but without more details on the exxact error it maybe a little tougher to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, neither of the links provided addresses the problem. After much talk, we just decided to substitute the computer with one that can accurately run the system. Thanks for all the help
