Digital input. Difference between line and port inputs

Hi,

I am using a NI PCI 6259 DAQ. In my program, I want to use a digital input. So in the DAQ assistant, do i just select Port0/Line0. Also does correspond to pin location 52 on my DAQ.

Ports are groups of lines. Port0 is a group of 8 lines, so Port0/Line0 is the first line of port0.
