Hello together,
I am supposed to order cables for my experiment and I noticed on ebay, for example, that for the model "SH68-68-EP" the item number 184749 can end in A, B or C. I can't find anything about the difference between the versions.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find anything about how the versions can differ. It seems to me that it is just a kind of revision.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Many thanks and greetings,
Daniel

There are special cable pairing and groundings in the VHDCI cables that are required for certain high-speed instrument and DAQs. With this said, cables are not interchangeable if those are special pinout and wiring paired.
What instrument are you searching cables for?

Hi Santhosh,
thank you for your reply! I want to connect an PCI-6713 card (https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/model.pci-6713.html) to one of our custom made breakout box. By NI it is recommended to use the SH68-68-EP cable.
If you have a look on eBay, you can find the cable by its item number. However, you find different "versions".
184749A: https://www.ebay.com/itm/303832796566?hash=item46bdd88d96:g:z~AAAOSwxH1djQeZ
184749C: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264071246252
They differ in the suffix of the item number. Nevertheless, they should be the same cable by their model name.
Do you know for what A, B, and C at the end of the item number stand for?
Best regards,
Daniel
