Delete custom scaling from DAQ Assistant

I want to delete a custom scale from the DAQ Assistant.  I am setting up a DAQmx task, and need to redefine the type scaling for a channel.  I can't find a way to do that.

Hi Brian,

Usually you can disassociate a DAQmx task with a custom scale by selecting <No Scale> in the Custom Scaling drop down box. This appears on the Task settings screen where you setup Maximum and Minimum values and so on. You can access this by double clicking on the DAQ Assistant.

In order to delete the custom scale altogether, remove the scale from the Scales menu in Measurement and Automation Explorer. Right click on the scale and click Remove to delete the scale from memory.
