DaqCard-1200 driver problem

I'm trying to install an old DAQCard-1200 on a new XP laptop.

I found that the corresponding driver should be found at: http://www.ni.com/support/daq/versions_portable.htm#pcmcia

It lists NI DAQ 6.9.3 as the proper driver set for the card.

I rain the nidaq693.exe program and then the resulting setup.exe, but still no luck getting the DAQCARD recognized. I noticed if you go to control panel and check the existing NI software on my system it lists 'Traditional NI-DAQ 7.4.1 (Legacy)' and no sign of 6.9.3. Do I have to remove 7.4.1 and install 6.9.3 to get it to work?

Hi Peter-

If you have previously installed Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) 7.4.1 you will need to uninstall that driver before NI-DAQ 6.9.3 will be properly installed.
