Does DAQpad-6016 work only on windows 32 bit?

The DAQpad is not restricted to any OS. 

Any restrictions you might encounter is due to your version of DAQmx.

i suggest looking at the readme file for your version of DAQmx.

The DAQPads, unfortunately, are restricted to 32-bit OSes only. See the "Devices Not Supported in NI-DAQmx on the 64-Bit Versions of Windows 10/8.1/7" section in the NI-DAQmx 18.1 Readme:

Devices Not Supported in NI-DAQmx on the 64-Bit Versions of Windows 10/8.1/7

The following devices are supported in NI-DAQmx on the 32-bit versions of Windows 10/8.1/7. They are not supported on the 64-bit versions of Windows 10/8.1/7:
