DAQcard 6024E not found in MAX after update LV 6.02 to 7

Hello Install-gurus,

after additionally installing LabVIEW 7 on my running 6.02 System the DAQcard 6024E is not longer listed in MAX (3.) (it was working before!)
The "Konfiguration"-Window shows me - but no device there.
After clicking in the center-window "Traditional NI-DAQ Devices" i get this error-message:
Microsoft VisualC++ Runtime library
runtime error
program: NIMax.exe
abnormal program terminitation
and MAX is closed.

Deinstallation of MAX/NI-DAQ/LV7 and newinstallation is done several times...

Any ideas? or experience of cleaning win2000 of old settings/reg-keys/files/... done by LV

PS: I need to have actual
both versions (6.02 and 7) because of DSC and some Applications.

I have seen a similar problem on a machine where I had 6.0 and 7 installed. Go into the add/remove programs and see if you have 2 versions of NI-DAQ installed. I had to remove the old version, and reinstall the new version of NI-DAQ, and then it saw my card.
