DAQ skips data point

I am using Labview 6i with 2 PCI 6024e daq cards and 2 bnc 2120 interface boards. I am collecting meteorological data from 3 Anemometers and power data from 2 voltage and 2 current transducers which I am sampling at 1 hz. I have notice every few seconds my data skips a second and I am missing 100 data sets or seconds for approximately every 600 sets or 10mins worth of data collected. I am at a loss at why this happens. Can anyone help with this. Thank you.

I do not know of anything in the DAQ driver that would cause this to happen. Most likely we are seeing some sort of programming error, or a problem with LabVIEW 6i.

How do you know that you are missing data?

What method are you using to store data as it comes in?

The reason I ask is that it is unlikely that we are not getting our data. It is much more likely there may be a small error in the code that processes the data.

I would start with an example program and see if it works. If it does, I would build on it until I could reproduce the error that we are seeing. That way you can let us know,"if I do x, then it will produce error y".

Just let us know how we can reproduce the same error.
