Hi
I am trying to read a voltage signal using the DAQ Assistant in LabView. I am using the NI USB-6229 to collect the voltage data and feed it to the computer.
When I put the DAQ Assistant into the block diagram, in the Configuration all seems to be fine and the signal reads fine. However, after clicking ok the DAQ Assistant logo does not have a 'Data' tab which means I can not output the voltage data to say a graph (ie. can not connect to other things via the wire). I have tried the above hardware on another computer and it seems to work. Perhaps its an issue with my software... Do you recommend to re-install LabView or are there any other things I can try? Thanks.

Hi,
Can you first post a little more information on this. What version of LabVIEW are you using and what operating system are you running it on? Can you attach a screen dump of this issue? For the time being I would suggest reparing/updating the DAQmx driver. You can get the upgraded driver at www.ni.com/updates or you can repair the driver using the steps in this knowledgebase. I hope that this helps.
Kind Regards,

I also have the same issue, the same software with another machine, it works. But in my machine it doesn't .
I'm using Labview 8.0 and OS is XP.

Have you tried the suggestions from the following KB:
Why Don't I Have Any Input or Output Terminals on My DAQ Assistant in LabVIEW?
