DAQ Assistant & MAX question

I have created a Traditional NI-DAQ Virtual Channels under MAX that read voltage.   I then go into Block diagram screen and insert the DAQ Assistant Icon.  When I double clicks the icon to find the channel that I just created,  I'm keep getting No Supported Devices Found.
I have tested the channel under max and it's working.   Is anything I did wrong??

The hardware I'm using is DAQCard-AI-16E-4 with DAQ Signal Accessory.

DAQ assistant considers DAQmx device drivers and the Virtual channels created with  the Traditional DAQ ID of that device will not be supported

So, create a DAQmx task/global channel in DAQmx and it will appear in DAQ assistant

Hope this helps

This is what I get...

1. Go to Create

2. Create NI-DAQmx Global channels

3.  Click Analog input.

4. Select Voltage.

5. No support device found.

Hi yoyoman-

Your DAQCard-AI-16E-4 (a.k.a. DAQCard-6041E) is not supported by NI-DAQmx as shown here.  This explains why it is not being listed in the DAQ Assistant channel creation utility.

Hopefully this helps-
