Sorry this is very basic question, but I can't find the correct terms to search.
I often have counters/digital lines produced by a task running with python nidaqmx, and I also want to record them in another task so the data can be saved, using configure_logging. I always wire up say the counter out or digital line to an AI, but I was just wondering if there is anyway of doing this without a physical wire, just using python nidaqmx to virtually connect them? It just gets a bit messy with wires and seems a bit unnecessary.
