Configuration for Acquisition

 Hi

Am new in DAQ and Currently I have a test application running fine in VB6.0 by consisting in measure Voltage, Current and Torque and at present am implementing this same software application in another machine which has the same test hardware equipment but when I run the application on this second machine obviously the acquisition of Voltage, Current and Torque are different.

            My question is:

Is needed some additional calibration or configuration I forgetting in MAX although the VB application creates and configure the tasks in code by using the NI DAQmx C API library?

If so, which are these steps please?

This is the hardware scenario

PXI-1050 (PXI/SCXI Combination)

- (Device 1) PXI-8186 Controller

- (Device 😎 PXI-6251M Multifunction for use as SCXI control of PXI/SCXI

-SCXI

--Module 1: SCXI-1125(8 Channel Programmable Isolated Input)/ SCXI-1313 (High Voltage Attenuator TB)

--Module 2: Empty

--Module 3: Empty

--Module 4: Empty

Channels Used:

                 - Voltage in DAQ Chan = SC1Mod1/ai0

                 - Current in DAQ Chan =SC1Mod1/ai3

                 - Torque in Chan = SC1Mod1/ai5

Any Help Will be appreciated

Thank you!

Hi Delt, in which way are they different? They have an offset? They have noise?  There are completely unrelated measurements?

Here to start troubleshooting we can see if the trouble is in you program or in the hardware configuration. If you open the test panels from MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) do they have the same difference as in your programs?  Do you have the same transducers connected? Is the driver (NI DAQmx or DAQ) the same version on both computers?

Best Regards
