Can We use NI MyDAQ for measuring BLDC motor Speed instead of NI USB6008 daq?

Previously i used NI 6008 usb type DAQ for measuring speed of BLDC motor (Since  NI6008 have RFI0 pin which could measure the pulses of encoder). recently i purchased myDAQ, can i use myDAQ for measure the pulses?. if so give guidance , how to proceed further.?
