CIN/DAQ error in LabView using win2000

Hardware used:
PIII 700 MHz/128 Mb memory
NI PCI-GPIB
NI PCI-6115
NI PCI-6527

Software used:
Win 20005.00.2195 Service pack 2
LabView 6.1 Full developement
NI-DAQ 6.9.2f8

Problem:
If I just open a new VI and try to place a data acquisition vi (for example AI Acquie Waveform.vi) I get a error message:"A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed." When I browse into the vi that failed so is the error in a CIN, error is "Call Library Function Node: function not found in library". The CIN is referring to "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\DAQ\lvdaq.dll" and that dll is in the system!
I have tried to reinstalled averything but can't make it work, no errors occured during the installat
ion. I have no problems with this on WIN NT.

Kublai:

I can recommend a couple of things:

1) Make sure you have Power User privileges on the Windows 2000 machine.

2) The DLL should appear under both folders:

- the system folder (winnt/system)
- the Labview-DAQ folder (...National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\DAQ)

3) Also try going into the DAQ installation and re-installing the DAQ support for LabVIEW 6.1:

- Control Panel -Add/Remove Programs
- Select NI-DAQ 6.9.2 -> Change
- Add/Remove Components
- De-select the DAQ support for LabVIEW 6.1 (Red X)
- Click Finish
- Re-start the computer
- Follow the same procedure to re-install, just make sure the DAQ support for LabVIEW is marked as "Install the whole feature in Local drive"

I hope this helps.
