Analog Output on PDA w/ DAQ 6036E

I would like to perform single-point analog output with a DAQCard 6036E on a PDA running Windows Pocket PC 2003  and have been having quite some trouble.  I understand that single-point analog output is not supported in NI-DAQmx Base 1.0 for the DAQCard 6036E, but came accross a page on the support website that offered an example that gives the impression that it should work.  The example is -- "PDA Single Point AO" as found at the following address: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/B6F163695654312186256E7C005C5BC5?OpenDocument

When I try to use the example, I receive the following error message: "Write cannot be performed because this version of DAQmx Write does not match the type of channels in the task.  Error code: -200526".  I am using LabVIEW PDA 7.1, DAQmxBase 1.0 ,and have set up a task using AO channels 0 and 1.  Can I perform an analog output task using this example?  Is there any special way in which the task must be configured that I may have overlooked? 

Please advise on how to proceed.  Any more information / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  (Also let me know if more information would be helpful.)

Hi Aaron,

This is an interesting error that you are running into. Are you able to run the other DAQmx Base analog output examples without errors? Also, I recommend double checking your task configuration as well as taking a detailed look at the example because it has some thorough instructions. Please let me know if you continue to run into problems with this. Screenshots of your task configuration would be helpful.
