The only 64-bit OS NI supports is Windows Vista x64. LabVIEW is still a 32-bit program and on Vista x64, it uses the WOW64 emulation layer to operate. NI has updated its drivers to work on both 32 and 64-bit systems. In regards to releasing a true 64 version of LabVIEW, NI is always working to keep up with market demands but does not currently have a released product.
Sorry. Application Engineers can’t comment on future releases, but I am sure our marketing department won’t keep it a secrete if and when it does get released.
