6016 maximum digital current

I have been trying to find the answer to my question and have yet to get it. I have ordered a DAQPad 6016 and plan on using the digitol IO to control some relays. The problem is when I look at the spec sheet is looks like the 6016 can only drive 2.5ua of current. I can't find a relay that is even close the that current level!

Am I reading the spec sheet wrong, has anybody had luck using a hight current relay with this board, like one that draws 35ma?

Thanks for any help
Bryan

Hi,

The current specs for this device vary depending on the port that you are using. The largest current is provided from port0, in which you can source 13mA and sink 24mA. These are defined in the E Series User Manual in the specifications for your device:

I hope this helps. Have a Great Day!
