6009 card recognized but it's not working

I have NI 6009 card plugged into USB. The computer recognizes card and installs drivers so in device manager I can see 'USB-6009' with info that it works ok, but LabView can't find it.
LabView version is 7.1 and NI-DAQmx 8.6
I had this problem on one computer before, and repairing LabView solved the problem, but now the problem remains. I've tried installing newest version of ni-daq but it's the same.
any suggestion?
than you,
Jernej

Hello Jernej,

Can you look in the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) to see if the USB-6009 shows up there?

To access the USB-6009 in MAX:
1.  Go to Start» Programs» National Instruments» Measurement and Automation
2.  Once MAX opens navigate to My System» DAQmx Devices» USB-6009

If the device is plugged in and detected in the device manager and not in MAX then take a look at this KnowledgeBase article:  NI Device Loader (nidevldu) and NI Configuration Manager Services Not Starting

If this doesn't resolve this issue feel free to post back to continue troubleshooting.

Cheers,
Brooks
