6008 - Digital Input Rookie Question

I am new to data acquisistion.  I have a USB 6008 and I am trying to read a 5volt pulse from a PLC.  How do I connect to the 6008?

You can find the user manual of this device here, read the specs of the DIO ports in detail before connecting you signal

It contains information required  regarding Digital I/O connectors and DIO circutry.

And remember one small detail:This device has an onboard 4.7 kΩ pull-up resistor.
