Hi, I'm a student researching how to control a stepper motor with a myRio. I've read some research papers and watched a couple of youtube videos on the subject, but I can't seem to find or create the right vi program to control the motion of a stepper motor. I know my setup is right with a NEMA 17, stepper motor driver, and a large enough power supply. I've controlled a stepper motor with an Arduino UNO and LabVIEW using the hobbyist toolkit. Still, I need help translating that to using a myRio to control a stepper motor. So far, I've created a basic vi that allows a stepper motor to move one step every time I hit a switch, but does anyone know how to scale this up to a fully working vi that controls the speed. Feel free to poke around my vi, and any help would be much appreciated.
