Hello bedaiwim,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. The method to connect the SCXI-1161 to the PXI chassis depends on how you are trying to control it.  If you are trying to use a DMM (such as the PXI 4060) or the PXI 4021, then you would need the SCXI 1362 kit. If you are trying to use one of our E series or M series DAQ modules, then you would need a SCXI 1349 with a SH68-68-EP cable.  I hope this is what you are looking for, don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.
