Voltage threshold for limit switch signal

I'm using a UMI-7772. The voltage across the feedback for the limit switches the do change as I open and close the limits(goes to 1.8), but the change is not detected in MAX. Is there a way to lower the threshold required to change the status of the limit switch. If not, what could be causing the limit switches not to reach a value of (2.5-5V)

It is not possible to change the threshold voltage on all digital or position switch inputs.

What kind of limit switch are you using? The limit switch inputs should work well with all external devices which give a TTL compatible output signal.

We are using a very basic limit switch. A lever that just opens and closes a circuit as it is being flipped.

With a simple switch it should work.

Make sure that there is a pull-up resistor from the limit switch input connected to +5V of the board. Most inputs have an integrated pull-up resistor, check the hardware description in the manual.
