PCI-7344 firmware not recognised

Hi

The PCI-7344 firmware  appears with a " red X mark " in the Measurement & Automation Expolrer. I also get the message" the controller is still not ready to receive commands".

How to solve the problem?

Hi fadyacom2,

Thanks for posting on the NI Discussion Forums to get help with your NI-Motion issue. In order to get more precise troubleshooting steps, it would be helpful to have a few more details on your system. Did anything change in your setup before receiving the "Still not ready" error? Can you tell me what firmware, version of MAX, version of LabVIEW, and OS you are running?

The error you're seeing often stems from the board not being initialized. Have you tried pressing the Initialize button at the top of the MAX panel? Does it give you a similar error when you send that command? You may also try turning off your computer and reseating the PCI card and rebooting.  Lastly, you could try reinstalling the NI-Motion driver or updating the firmware on your board.  This document discusses how you can upgrade the firmware - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/ED33E946825A94AE862569C8007A392E?OpenDocument

Hopefully some of these tips help! Let me know what you find and if you have any more information on your system.
