PCI-7342 Programmatically Enable Limit Filters

I tried enabling the limits before bothering to change the filter enabled/disabled setting and the error was the same.

Time for a phone call!

My guess is that some of these interesting attributes are not already implemented but let us expect future enhancements !

Now that I look at the attribute list of ones that are "Valid" versus the complete list available in the Enum I have to agree with you.

I am on the phone now with Motion tech support.

Looks like we're right - some functions from the Attributes Enum are not available yet.

Thank you for the info. Let's wait for NI-Motion 7.7 !

I was succesful in using LabVIEW to override all other setting in MAX.  I can go into MAX and configure the card completely wrong, i.e. for Servo, wrong counts on the encoder, then run my LV code that pulls the configuration info from my own CFG file and the axis is configured as desired (Stepper) and moves properly.  I will just have to wait for all the other functionality to be implemented in NI-Motion.

I hope they also fix all the BoardID and Axis constant discrepancies too, I hate seeing all those coercion dots.

I add my voice to this request ! This is surely not what I expect from a NI library ! However I would like to say that this library and the motion interfaces have been greatly improved since NI's first steps with motion in 1997.
