Autocad Dxf to txt conversion

Dear All,

I want to know if I can convert Autocad dxf file or an Autocad dwg file into an ordinary text file where I can get the points and then I can dump it into an array for the further process.

Is it possible.If yes, how?

I don't know of any available utilities that will convert DXF files into an array.  Do you want to access this array from LabVIEW or some other programming environment?  If you want this data to control a motion system, you could use the Motion Assistant, which can import DXF files as the contour parameters for a move.  Here are links to some other similar questions that have been asked on the forums:
