"Path too long" error while extracting zipped solution

While extracting a zipped VB.Net 2008 solution I get an error stating "Path too long" and listing NationalInstruments.Common.Native.dll.deploy (see attachment). I only recently starting getting this error message and I don't want to just choose the option to "Skip" because I don't know if I need this file or not. Any suggestions?

Well, this seems to be a problem with my computer/operating system. It works fine on another computer.

I restarted the computer and the problem went away. But  I'll try the longpathtool if the problem comes up again and I can't resolve it by restarting.
