Hi,
I need to write an application in C#.net for a PCI 5114 digitizer. I see that the latest version of the NI-SCOPE.NET class library is 1.1, which I gather is compatible with Windows Vista and XP: https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-scope--net-class-libraries.html .
I would like to use the C# examples that come with the NI-SCOPE.NET class library on my Windows 7 operating system. However, as far as I can see it looks like those examples are VS 2008 applications. Does this mean that I need to install VS 2008 on my Windows 7 machine? And, can I use Measurement Studio 2013?
Or alternatively, should I open some of the VS 2008 C#.net examples inside VS 2010 and let VS convert them to 2010?
Any advice would be appreciated. (I can't use LabView because I need to be able to make custom changes to the data format before writing it to disk (fast)).
Thanks,
Penny

The latest version of the NI-SCOPE.NET class library is 1.1.1 - https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-scope--net-class-libraries.html.
This version is quite old and does not claim support for Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2010.
However, we will release NI-SCOPE.NET class library 2.0, in a couple of weeks.
This supports Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2010, as you want. In the meantime I can give you the beta version of the product.

Hi Amrutha,
Thanks for the reply. It would be great if I could get the 2.0 library, beta version or not.
