I am currently running a custom system for a jet engine test cell. I am using an SCXI system coupled with Compact Field Point. I am using the SCXI to handle the vibration input. When I try to output the vibration to the screen to show me the information in the time domain I cannot get the information to show me the correct amplitude across the range. I have to scale the amplitude based on the sensitivity of the vibration pickup. However when I input .5 in/s at 200Hz I can scale the data to show me the appropriate m/s^2 but when I change the input vibration to 1.0 or any other value it will not show the corresponding it is much larger. How can I get the amplitude to increase linearly?

I forgot to add that I am using Visual Studio 2008

Hi, I'd like to get a little more information about your program because I'm still a little unclear about how you are scaling and plotting your data. Are you using a scale within your task (like a custom scale)? Are you auto-scaling your graph? Are you trying to set a range for your graph, or are you looking to have it auto-adjust to the values plotted to it? It'd be very helpful to either see some simplified steps of how you're graphing your data, or some screen shots of what you expect to be seeing versus what you are seeing. Thanks so much!
