access to NI 6008 very very slow on dev PC

Hello Everybody,

I'm developping a test tool based on NI 6008.

I had successfully developped several test tool with NI 6008 past 3 years.

Last Week, I have the good idea to update DAQmx version with the latest.

Unfortunaly, older test tools don't work with newer release and it was to much work to update all test tools with newer release.

Thus I decided to go back to 8.5.20.22.

Now, on my PC, access to NI 6008 is very very slow. It's take 2-3s.

If I try test tool on mass production PC, access is almost instantaneous.

I think there is somethong wrong with my PC. But what?

I try to remove LCR check in Internet Explorer, ethernet cable to know if it's a problem of numeric signature.

But problem always appears.

It's crazy!! Could you help me?

Hi Loic, 

That very strange the older tools don't work with newer release of NI -DAQmx 9.1.1. One of the main test is to check the compatibility with the older driver version, have you search the cause of the issue ?

I can't explain why on this computer the access is slow,  perhaps you could try to reload the USB-6008 firmware to have the same version as NI-DAQmx 8.5, you can read this KB that explain how to change the firmware version (NI-DAQmx base to NI-DAQmx) that will perhaps reload the firmware.
