Windows 7 Error -12

I tried to install the NI Measurement Studio Full Version by running the 'setup' application; but as I run the 'setup,' a textbox appear saying: "Error: Windows SDK function returned an error. (Error code -12)"

I am running Windows 7 on Mac using the BootCamp. I tried to enable the .NET Framework 3.5.1 but always fails.

Anyway, two questions:

1. Must the .NET Framework be enabled before I install the NI MEasurement Studio?

2. Has anyone run NI Measurement Studio on Mac?

Please help me to install the software. I'm so frustrated.

What version of Measurement Studio are you trying to install? Only Measurement Studio 2009 has support for Windows 7.   Usually the SDK error code -12 errors are affiliated with trying to install software on an unsupported operating system.

This knowledgebase is about getting the error when installing LabVIEW, but it may apply to other software packages as well.
