Measurement Studio expired

Hi,
some time ago I installed the evaluation version of MS 8.1. Yesterday I had to install the MS 8.0.1 full version on the same computer running XP sp2.
I uninstalled the 8.1 eval version and install the 8.0.1 version, but when I try to build any project I receive the error "this version of measurement studio has expired".
how can I fix this?

Hi cosmin,

Did you uninstall the evaluation version before installing the licensed version?

Also, it may help to run the license fixer mentioned in this knowledge base:
ActiveX Controls Evaluation Message Box Appears after Installing Measurement Studio

When you run this, does it find any controls that need to be fixed?

Hi,
yes I uninstalled the eval version first. The license fixer says that there is no controls in eval mode, so everything looks ok, until I try to build a project (any project).
It says that the measurement studio is expired.
