Hallo,
I have troubles to see Measurement Studio Instrument Driver .NET Wizard in either full VS 2010 (C#) or VS 2008 express. I have installed also Measurement Studio 2009 and IVI compliance package etc. I do not see any Measurement Studio categories while I'm trying to Add new Item to a project...
Is there Instrument Driver Wizard for Visual Studio 2010 or how can I add 2009 to VS 2008 express or to VS 2010?
Desperatly seeking for answer.
Note: VS 2008 (Express version) integration was not successful - I tried also to remove this feature and nothing happend.

Hello,
May I suggest you to try with at least Visual Studio 2008 Professionnal edition : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=83c3a1ec-ed72-4a79-8961-25635db0192b&dis...
Remove your current 2008 express edition, download and install the Professionnal trial edition.
I'm pretty sure VS2008 Express doesn't support any add-in.
Good luck!

Hi kalibuk,
Measurement Studio 2009 doesn't have direct support for Visual Studio 2010, because it is older. But you can use it:
Using Measurement Studio 2009 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
You can use Measurement studio also with express edition, but the wizards won't work.

hello,
I have the developer suite of Labview, updated to the latest version.
I need to use Visual Studio Express 2010 for a simple application and for this reason we don't need the professional version.
I know how to add the reference of the NI MEasurement studio to my project but how can I add the component to the toolbar or use the components in the project form?
Any help is appreciated.
Best regards
Marco
