Measurement Studio 8.0 libraries and the .NET 2.0 framework

I'm searching for a statement whether NI supports the usage of Measurement Studio 8.0 libraries with the .NET 2.0 framework.
Allthough there are some posts, documents and a patch for the use with VS 2005 as well, I'm not sure if these have beta/trial character or can be used in a production environment.

Is anyone able to clarify my question?

Christian

Using the Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET class libraries in applications with the .NET Framework 2.0 is officially supported by National Instruments.

If you do not need to release very soon, you can develop against the 8.0 libraries and rebuild when Measurement Studio 8.0.1 is available. Measurement Studio 8.0.1 will include libraries built against .NET Framework 2.0 and is scheduled for release soon.

"is scheduled for release soon"

What is soon?

I have the SSP (Standard Service Program). How will I be able to get the new release?

What about Vision 8.0 libraries and .NET 2.0 framework?

Hey Snipe,

There is no native .NET support for NI Vision. You just use ActiveX to access the vision functions. That would work the same way in .NET 2.0 as well. So there should be no problems using them.
