Measurement Studio 2013 and LabVIEW Runtime 2013

Does Measurement Studio 2013 run with the LabVIEW 2013 runtime? When I looked in the installer it looked like the LabVIEW 2012 runtime was getting installed? We have a LV application built with 2013 and a .NET UI that is using Measurement Studio 2013. To distribute this on a CD are we going to have to include both the LV 2012 and LV 2013 runtimes?

Hi mikecwilson,

Do you have the Standard, Professional, or Enterprise edition? I don't believe the LabVIEW run-time software is installed with Measurement Studio. Could it have been the LabWindows/CVI Full Development System you saw being installed? I know that is included with our Enterprise edition. 

Concerning your installer, you should be fine with just the LabVIEW 2013 Run-Time Engine for your LabVIEW application. According to the Measurement Studio readme, "To deploy an application built with Measurement Studio .NET class libraries, the target computer must have a Windows 8/7/Vista SP2/Server 2008 (R2 edition) operating system and .NET Framework 4.5".
