How do I programatically save changes made to Task.AIChannel.Description using measurement studio?

Assuming that MAX 3.0.1 is used to config channels, how do I programatically save changes made to Task.AIChannel.Description in measurement studio 7.0? I can change the setting in code, and it will stay changed for the life of the program execution, but I cant figure out how to permanently save it. Please help.

Currently, you can not save changes to a task back to MAX from any environment (Measurement Studio, CVI, or LabVIEW). You also can not edit the descriptions from within MAX. I guess this makes the Description property of rather limited use for now. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
