DirectX, XNA, or OpenGL

Has anyone ever tried implementing Measurement Studio plotting routines with DirectX, OpenGL, or some other accelerator-based technology?  For oscilloscope-type high-speed plotting, would that make a big performance difference?

In my humble opinion, implementing DirectX technology for rendering Graphs would be catastrophic for ASP.NET and quite stunning for Windows Forms, that's why it may not be adequate for implementation.
