Voltage input to analog current input module

Hi.

I am wondering the following two things.

First, what happens if I wire an analog voltage signal (e.g., 0-10 V) source to a NI current input module (e.g., NI 9208)

Second, how do I do if I want to acquire voltage signal with a current input module except for using V to A transducers.

Hi, as described on pages 13-14 in datasheet it won't be possible to make direct voltage measurements with this module. However i imagine connecting a resistor instead of "Loop-Powered Current Transducer" with p13 schematic. In this case you should make sure the current does not exceed input rating of 20mA and do the calculations accordingly.
