Sub-Zero is hiring a Manufacturing Test Engineer. The position is listed as Senior Test Engineer but experience level is flexible. The Test Engineer will be responsible for supporting the largest manufacturing line on our Fitchburg campus.
The Test Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting both automated and semi-automated test systems and processes. Our equipment is built upon the National Instruments platform, heavily using Compact DAQ and LabVIEW. In addition, the Test Engineer will perform data analytics to identify emerging issues and reduce test equipment nuisance.
Although the Test Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting test equipment and test processes, they will frequently be asked to leverage their electrical and mechanical background to assist the product team in coming up with novel ideas to solve complex problems. Some examples may include automation of manufacturing processes using robotics and machine vision to aid the assembly process.
