vision builder labview migration

Migrating vbai to LabVIEW vi without problems.  Vi runs ok.  Close LabVIEW and reopen vi only to have missing vi's.  Migrate vi to project only to have missing errors.  What has to be configured to locate missing vi's?

Thanks,

Could you please include a simple inspection to reproduce this problem. What version of Vision Builder AI are you using? I just tried the Vision Builder AI 2010 with one of the example inspections and didn't have this problem.

Thanks,

Brad

Hi dg_lbe,

What version of VBAI and LabVIEW are you using?  Also, what VIs appear to be missing?

You could also try the following:

Best of luck!

I am using 2010.  I would have to close Vision Builder once the vi was generated to solve the issue.

Both LabVIEW and VBAI 2010?  And you notice that you do not have missing VIs once closing VBAI?

Yes, both are 2010.  And yes, once builder is closed no issues loading vi's...

It sounds like your inspection may be using HW resources that can only be used by one application at a time. For example, cameras typcially can only be by Vision Builder AI or LabVIEW but not both at the same time.

You may not be able to have your Vision Builder AI inspection running at the same time as a LV program if they are both trying to use the same HW.

Hope this helps,

Brad

Using a image simulation folder.  Both run fine when both are opened.  When vi is entered into a labVIEW project folder errors occur.  Also when LabVIEW is closed and re-opened errors occur.   The only time errors do not occur is when Builder is closed.

Thanks for your help in this matter.

Again, could you send a sample inspection to reproduce this. I don't think we're going to get anywhere fast by guessing. If you don't want to put it on a public forum, you can email it to vbai.support@gmail.com

Thanks,
