update ROI

I want to update the ROI automatically for pattern matching based on coordinates saved first time i learn the template. that means that once I learn the template if the background image changes considerably a new ROI should be selected in the same location. How can I do this

Hello,

You can monitor the average intensity value of your ROI using the IMAQ Histograph function's mean output terminal for the ROI and if it goes outside of a defined range you can relearn the template using the original ROI coordinates.
