NI-IMAQ does not support TWAIN and can't acquire from TWAIN devices (like a scanner). However, Graftek Imaging (www.graftek.com) sells a TWAIN driver. I've never used it, so I can't speak for it's capabilities. It probably won't work with Vision Builder though.
The other option is to acquire an image into Photoshop (or some other third party product that supports TWAIN) and then save the image to disk. You can then open it inside Vision Builder and LabVIEW.
