support for JAI CV-M40 on a 1409?

I have a JAI CV-M40 camera and am trying to get it work properly with my PCI-1409 card. When I connect it to the 1409 I get an image using the generic 60Hz progressive scan camera file. However, the bottom half of the image frame is now on top. I have tried manipulating the various options in the camera file but have had no luck.

Is there a camera file for the CV-M40 already written? I had heard there was going to be one. If not, is there another solution?

Ultimately, I would like to use the camera at least at a rate of 120Hz half frame (in case that is a simpler solution).

Thanks,
robert

Are you using the camera file from,
ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/imaq/camera_support/camera_files/analog/standard/

Is this camera similar to JAI CV-M1,

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/516CCF03E3797DF486256AC100722F0A?opendocument

or is it a Non-standard Analog Camera?

Pavan-

I did not actually download the camera file from the FTP site...I used the one that came with IMAQ vision (latest version). I will give it a try just in case.

As far as the camera, the CV-M40 is a non-standard analog camera (double speed, progressive scan). Whereas, the CV-M1 is a high resolution camera.

Not surprisingly, the download was not different from the camera file I already had....and did not work. There seems to be a paucity of available information on how to configure this card for non-standard cameras. However, the NI site clearly indicates that the JAI CV-M40 is supported by the PCI-1409. OK, then how??

Non-standard cameras like yours have unique features that are not implemented in generic analog camera files. In this case, please contact us via ni.com/ask and we will help you out.
