Yes, it is definately possible. What kind of hardware and software do you want to use? Robotics is not very specific. The more information you give on these forums the more information you will get back. You've posted on the Machine Vision part of the forum, so I am going to answer with regard to these products; however, there may be other ways to do this. If you do not want to use actual motors and NI-Motion products you might want to post on the LabVIEW part of the forum.
So the first thing is to let us know what kind of hardware you already have (what kind of motors are you using? do you already have a drive?) After we know that we can offer better advice on what you would need for this application.
